Measurement Guide

The best way to accurately measure children for bracelets is to use flexible measuring tape or wrap a string around the child's wrist, just below the wrist bone, mark or cut the string and put to a ruler.  Advise of the exact size.  Be sure to indicate that it is the exact size of the child's wrist, so we know to add on an addtional length of 1/2 to 1 inch depending on the type of  clasp and the design.  Most designs for everyone will have a chain extender.  This will allow flexibility in size and will grow with the child so that it will fit for many years.   If you can't measure the child, that is fine, just use the following chart AND advise me of the childs' age:

Measurement Guide for Adults

Bracelets

  Small  7"
  Standard  7 1/4"
  Medium   7 1/2"
  Large   7 3/4""
  Extra-large   8"

Most designs will have a chain extender that will measure from 7 to 8 inches.   If the design has a toggle clasp, they will generally measure about 7 1/2", standard size for a toggle.   If you have an odd size or are not sure, or if your wrists are a little smaller or larger than normal, than please take the time to measure.  Add on 1" to the exact measurement.  I will be happy to make modifications for you.* (an additional small fee may apply for modfications if there is additional material or if the product is returned for resizing).

Ankle Bracelets

  Small   9"
  Average   9 1/2"
  Medium   10"
  Large   10 1/2"
  Extra-large   11"

Ankle sizes can vary greatly (especially after having kids!).  Again, a chain extender is used on ankle designs that will usually measure from 9" - 10".  If you have smaller or larger ankles, please measure so you can have that perfect fit.  Put the tape measure where you would like your ankle bracelet to rest and then add an inch.

Necklace Length Terminology

Collar

13 - 14"

Fit snugly around the middle to the base of the neck.  Looks great with V-neck, boat-neck and off the shoulder tops.

Choker

15 - 16" Fall right at the base of the neck.  Again looks great with V-neck, boat-neck, off the shoulder tops and strapless or plunging necklines.

Princess

17 - 19" Fall between the throat and bossom area.  This is the most common length and can be worn with most necklines.
Matinee 20 - 24" Hits the top of the bossom area.  With a plunging neckline, it will draw much attention to the area and may take away from the outfit you are wearing.
Lariat 24" + Open necklace that is meant to be tied.
Opera 28 - 34"  Falls below the bust.  Can be doubled for a layered look.
Rope 34" + This length can be doubled, 48" + tripled for a multi-strand look.
